Tottenham Hotspur: Fans can’t believe Giovani Lo Celso was called up by Argentina

Juan Foyth and Giovani Lo Celso have been called up to the Argentina national team, as reported on Tottenham Hotspur’s official Twitter page.
This comes despite the fact that they have played a measly 17 and 57 minutes of football across all competitions for Spurs this season, as per WhoScored.
Should Lo Celso replace Christian Eriksen ASAP?
Yes

No

While they haven’t been deemed fit enough to represent their club in recent months, Lionel Scaloni seems to think the pair are ready for international football:

Many Spurs fans are shocked to see either of them included, but the most concern seems to be around Lo Celso, due to the fact that he only just seems to be approaching fitness, having made cameo appearances against Red Star Belgrade and Liverpool.
Some fans have taken this as an opportunity to tell Mauricio Pochettino that he should start playing the 23-year-old and his fellow Argentinian more, while others are fearful of another injury occurring.

If Lo Celso gets injured again we might as well send him back to spain

both working on fitness, playing few minutes here and there. Now potentially playing full games, risking injury rather than building strength at Hotspur Way

I can’t even remember if he’s left or right footed as it’s been so long since I’ve seen him play for us

foyth and lo Celso will drop 9/10s, confidence will be high, come back and sit on the bench as ‘not fit’.

Lo Celso just about getting back and he’s right into the thick of the international action
