Son Heung-min was given the Man of the Match award for Tottenham Hotspur’s 4-0 win over Crystal Palace, having scored two goals.
However, there were some supporters who didn’t agree with the decision to hand the accolade to the 27-year-old:

The majority of those who disagreed wanted to see Serge Aurier named Man of the Match on his first league appearance of the season.
It was the Ivory Coast international who set up Son’s second, as per WhoScored, while he also put in the ball that led to Patrick van Aanholt’s own goal.
Defensively, the 26-year-old made 2 tackles, 1 clearance and an impressive 5 clearances, as well as winning 1 aerial duel.
The Ivorian was also efficient with the ball at his feet, as he completed 85% of all the passes he attempted during the match.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the decision, including posts from bemused Spurs fans, can be seen below:

Aurier, Lamela, probably Toby all earned it more for me personally

He played well but I think Aurier desserved it more. Best RB performance we had had in ages.
