Robert Snodgrass had not started a Premier League game since West Ham United’s 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion, but he took his chance to impress against Sheffield United.

After Roberto had kicked the ball upfield, it eventually fell to Andriy Yarmolenko, who played a brilliant first-time pass to the Scotsman.
Once the 32-year-old had the ball at his feet, he strode forward confidently before placing it past Dean Henderson, as shown in the video on West Ham’s official Twitter account:

This wasn’t his only moment of quality on the ball, as he also completed 88% of all the passes he attempted during the game, as well as making two key passes, as per WhoScored.
The veteran’s goal and general level of performance, before being taken off in the 86th minute, impressed many West Ham fans to the point where they feel he should play against Newcastle United.
