Many Wolves fans believe that it would be the best thing for all parties if midfielder Adama Traore left Molineux this month.
The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Black Country club, with the likes of Liverpool and his former side Barcelona interested in his services (via Goal).
But according to Eurosport, Traore’s contract negotiations have broken down due to a fallout with Leeds United waiting in the wings.
The report added that the Whites transfer chief Victor Orta, who knows the Spaniard from his time at Middlesbrough, is the driving force behind taking him to Elland Road.
Should Wolves sell Adama Traore?
Despite this, supporters welcomed the idea of Traore potentially leaving the West Midlands club in January, with some suggesting that he is too inconsistent for the squad to move forward.
Fans want Traore to leave
“If he wants to go let him he’s too inconsistent”
“Let him go for £40m”
“He’s done nothing all season so I say let him go”
“Don’t rate him never have, let him go for me”
“He is not contributing anyway. Kids are better then him. All he does is run and can’t shoot. Too slow to pass, doesn’t run when he is free, does not defend.”
“If he wants to leave then we should let him, I don’t want a player who doesn’t wanna play for us no matter how good they are”
