Wolves have taken to life in the Premier League pretty well, as manager Nuno Santo looks to guide his team into the top half of the table by the season end.

The Molineux club have had a few years of big spending, with super agent Jorge Mendes helping the club acquire a host of exciting talent which ultimately dominated the Championship and looks to have taken well to the top flight.

The summer probably didn't see quite as many big name signings brought into the club as some fans would have wanted, but the arrivals of Raul Jimenez, Joao Moutinho, and left wing-back Jonny Castro have all looked like solid additions, while Diogo Jota also made his move to the club a permanent one.

The January window will soon come around though, and Wolves will no doubt be keen to flex their financial muscles once again.

One player we think that the club could look to sign as a major statement is Manchester United attacking midfielder Juan Mata, who has become something of a bit-part player for the Red Devils over the last six months or so.

However, the Spaniard remains a class act, and someone who has a bag full of Premier League experience, something Wolves could well do with when the going gets tough during the winter months.

Mata would also provide manager Santo with a different option, with his style of play much different to that of the direct wingers he currently has in his squad.

A big money and big name signing, Mata could well be the perfect addition for Wolves.

Wolves fans, what do you think? Would Mata be a good signing? Let us know in the comments!
