QPR’s up and down season continued at the weekend with a turn for the worse as they lost at home to Hull City in the Sky Bet Championship.
The R’s have been up and down this season quite a lot with them flirting with the play-offs particularly in the early stages of the campaign.
They’re consistently inconsistent, though, and after being in front against Hull yesterday afternoon, they ended up being on the end of a defeat thanks to lapses in concentration.
After some more positive performances of late, too, it was Joe Lumley’s error that led to one of the goals as well and that fact has not been lost on some on Twitter who have shared their criticism of him.
Let’s take a look now at some of the reaction on social media concerning the 24 year-old goalkeeper:

Just to make it clear for everyone defending Joe Lumley in goal for the R’s…. it’s gone to far now, he’s costing us matches, the whole buzz of the side fizzled out when he couldn’t catch the ball. I’d rather have smithies back from Cardiff. #QPRHUL

A tough afternoon for the stopper and it remains to be seen what Mark Warburton looks to do next.
