Burnley will be the last of the 20 Premier League teams to resume their season, being made to wait until tomorrow night’s trip to Manchester City before getting back into action.
The Clarets last took to the pitch for a competitive fixture 106 days ago when they held Tottenham to a 1-1 draw at Turf Moor but there is now only one more sleep until the Burnley faithful can cheer on their team, albeit from the comforts of home with the rest of the campaign to be played behind closed doors.
Sean Dyche’s team were in 10th place in the league when the season was halted in March, closer in terms of points and positions to the top five than the relegation zone.
