There remains no clarity how the Scottish Premiership, like most of the leagues across Europe, will end due to the current pandemic.
There was initially talk the season could be null and voided, before FIFA recently extended the campaign indefinitely in an attempt to finish all of the continent’s divisions. Either way, whether the term is cancelled or is eventually played out, it is Celtic who are likely to finish on top of the table – they currently have a 13-point lead over closest rivals Rangers.
Former Gers chairman Alastair Johnston, though, believes that any title given to the Bhoys this term without the season being finished would be tainted, and that an asterisk should be put next to the title.
This has got Celtic fans talking, and as you can imagine, they are far from happy with his comments – one fan even called his words “ignorance”. You can see some of the best comments from social media platform Twitter below.
I think it’s the complete lack of self awareness that gets me every time , either that or they are so beyond arrogance they have moved into ignorance.

They genuinely have zero self awareness. Truly a different breed.

They know ‘null and void’ is dead in the water. So, they’ve now moved onto “any Celtic 2020 title triumph”. The pain is delicious.🍀😁

Every season it happens.
Been a tough decade or two for them. pic.twitter.com/flzFco8vlq— Lint (@Zeshankenzo) April 6, 2020
Everything they do reeks of desperation, Celtic`s success has guys like AJ looking ridiculous as they try to deflect from the financial crisis looming in the not too distant future.

They’re in a blind panic over this. Not one person associated with or supporting Celtic has requested the title be handed over early, we are on course to win it fair and square and every single bear knows it, hence their vigorous pursuit of null and void. Desperateforabailoutfc
