Yesterday brought the news that Dave King would be stepping down from his role in charge of Rangers but comments made by the South African-based businessman about one of the Gers’ star players would surely have helped any ease any pain on that front.
Indeed, as captured on the club’s official Twitter feed, King spoke of how the club were in a position to keep their star striker despite previously reported interest from the Premier League after a lethal campaign for the Colombian.

So far, the 23-year-old has bagged a stunning 22 goals in 26 games while registering a further seven assists, so it’s easy to see why teams from across the border would be keen on a move.
However, King spoke bullishly at the club’s AGM in Glasgow recently and believes there’s little chance he’d be sold as Steven Gerrard chases Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership, much to the delight of fans online. So, here’s a closer look at what some of the supporters made of it.
