Many Rangers fans have discussed a closed-door match which allegedly finished 3-0 to the Gers.
According to reports from the Daily Record, it was second in Scotland versus second in England as Greg Docherty starred in a performance which saw Rangers defeat a Leicester XI.
While the team of Leicester has not been unveiled, the previous report suggests that first teamers James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Sheyi Ojo and Jermain Defoe all featured for the Gers.
The Record Sport Online ‘understands’ that with Greg Docherty’s performance caught the eye of many scouts in attendance, which could help the player get a loan move in the January transfer window.
Tavernier and Stewart were also in the goals for the Scottish Premiership side, with the game being played to try and boost match fitness levels before the return of the league on the weekend.
Many fans discussed Docherty’s performance, with some saying he needs to be ‘set free’, while others say he could provide good back up if their midfield is picked apart in the transfer window.

Ideally if all this decent cash interest in Kamara is genuine, loan Doc out in Jan till summer, if Kamara goes we have a ready made replacement who we know can slot right in.

I think he's down the pecking order unfortunately. I thought he would be good for us. Looks like management team are in favour of barjones over him as he's been promoted to full team.
