Plenty of Rangers fans have reacted dismissively to reports of interest from the English Championship in one of their defensive mainstays.
Football Insider reported that Leeds have declared their interest in signing centre-back Connor Goldson, with the news subsequently shared by @RangersCulture on Twitter.

The 27-year-old is also a target for Fulham (as per Football Insider) and, going into Friday’s Scottish Cup tie against Stranraer, he has played more minutes for Rangers this season (3,240) than anyone else in the squad. He hasn’t missed a single minute in the Light Blues’ Premiership and European campaigns so far, with the Betfred Cup clash against East Fife in August the only game that he has sat out (as per TransferMarkt).
According to Football Insider, ‘Gers boss Steven Gerrard is a huge admirer of Goldson and is not willing to let him leave, with the same publication claiming that the Ibrox club would demand a significantly higher sum than the £3m which they paid for him in 2018.
