Scottish football pundit Chris Sutton claimed in his article in The Daily Record that Alfredo Morelos wasn’t the best striker in the country when compared to a city rival.

It would be hard to deny that Edouard is having a decent start to the season but when you consider Morelos’ numbers of 14 goals and 5 assists compared to the Frenchman’s 9 goals and 5 assists, these Rangers fans on Twitter may feel justified to have reacted as a result.
So far this season, Rangers’ Colombian ace has bagged a goal every 79 minutes in the league alone, compared to Edouard’s strike every 107 minutes, having played 28 minutes more so far. Furthermore, Light Blue teammate Jermain Defoe has outscored them both with 9 goals in the league, with an effort coming every 39 minutes according to the BBC.
With that in mind, Rangers fans took to Twitter to deride Sutton’s claims that Celtic shouldn’t sell Edouard even if they receive an offer of £50m.
