Rangers: Fans fume as Steven Gerrard reveals what Connor Goldson did after Hamilton defeat

Loads of Rangers fans have been left furious by something Steven Gerrard said in his press conference, as the manager revealed Connor Goldson apologised to his teammates after the match against Hamilton.

Goldson has become a lightning beam for criticism in recent weeks, and deservedly so if truth be told, with his most recent blunder gifting three points to Hamilton on Wednesday. The 27 year-old dithered on the edge of his box and allowed David Moyo to swoop in and score, but Gerrard’s comments have convinced fans he will not drop the defender, leading to fury on social media.

Of course, the manager has been slammed by some fans for throwing certain players under the bus, namely Nikola Katic, who they now believe is being harshly treated given the mistakes made by Goldson. The Gers travel to Ross County on Sunday, and the Staggies will fancy their chances if Goldson plays like he did against Hamilton.
