Alfredo Morelos has scored 15 goals in all competitions already this season, turning the heads of Europe’s top clubs, including sides in the Premier League.
Colombian hitman Morelos, who has so far bagged an outstanding six goals in five SPFL starts, has been the name on Rangers fans’ lips when it comes to naming the world’s best out-and-out strikers.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a sensational start to his Gers career, signing from HJK Helsinki in 2017, scoring 14 goals in 31 league appearances (as per Transfermarkt) before going on to better his numbers thereafter – finishing the Scottish Premiership’s top scorer in 2018/19.
Most recently, Morelos scored a crucial equaliser against FC Porto in the Europa League, to keep Rangers in control of their bid to qualify for the knockout rounds with three games of the group stages remaining.
Despite not starting in favour of Jermain Defoe in Rangers’ last game, a 2-1 victory over Motherwell, and with Defoe currently topping the goalscoring charts, Rangers supporters have flocked to support Morelos in TalkSPORT’s ‘best striker in the world’ debate.
Here’s how they hilariously invaded TalkSPORT’s tweet to vote for the Colombian:
