Rangers fans were lashing out at Alfredo Morelos after a clip of the forward doing the ‘stay at home’ challenge emerged online.
The video showed the Colombian attempting kick-ups with a toilet roll, a trend which has been carried out by many footballers, who find themselves stuck at home due to recent events (via The Mirror). However, it doesn’t seem to have pleased supporters especially due to the striker’s struggles in 2020.
One fan seemed to question his commitment on the pitch.
A bit of effort and commitment there…..

Morelos hasn’t scored in the Scottish Premiership since the clash with Kilmarnock way back on Boxing Day last year. As a matter of fact, his only goal across all competitions this year came in the Scottish Cup victory over Hamilton Academical back in February (via Transfermarkt). Despite all the problems surrounding him, he was shown support by Jermain Defoe, who claimed he would back the player because he’s a friend (via Daily Record).
Supporters weren’t too happy with the £13.5m-rated, as per Transfermarkt, 23-year-old as they took to Twitter to lambaste him. Here are some tweets:
The most he’s done since the winter break
