Jermain Defoe has claimed he wants to finish his career at Rangers after he gave an interview on talkSPORT confessing his love for the Ibrox club.

The diminutive striker has been on fire for the Gers this season. Despite being back-up to Alfredo Morelos, he is top goal scorer in the Scottish Premiership with 9 goals in just 353 minutes at an incredible rate of a goal every 39 minutes.
Steven Gerrard has made no secret about wanting to keep Defoe at Rangers beyond his 18-month loan from Bournemouth, and rumours are now circulating that there may be a player/coach contract offer in the pipeline for the former Tottenham man.
Either way, Rangers fans were delighted when they heard the news given just how pivotal Defoe’s contribution has been in getting them to the top of the league, and they took to Twitter to wax lyrical about the striker.
