Rangers fans were full of praise for Joe Aribo after the midfielder’s performance during their win over Ross County on Sunday.
The £1.17m-rated, as per Transfermarkt, former Charlton Athletic player was lauded by the supporters despite the fact the Gers struggled to impose themselves on the club placed in the bottom half of the Scottish Premiership (via BBC). He’s been in quite sensational form this season and has scored nine goals and assisted a further eight in 46 games across all competitions (via Transfermarkt). However, even more impressively, Aribo has featured in six different positions for Steven Gerrard’s men, showing his impressive versatility.
Despite his personal form, the Glasgow outfit are in desperate need of a boost having won none of their last three games in domestic competitions prior to Sunday (via WhoScored). That didn’t seem to matter to the Ibrox faithful, who took to Twitter to laud the player for his efforts in the game against the Staggies. Here are a selection of tweets:
Aribo was positive and started a lot today he fully deserves it. McGregor for that save.

Things we take from today. Again Aribo the only man who isn’t hiding and is trying to make things happen. Again Alfredo looks disinterested and looks as if he doesn’t want to be here. And how much more comfortable did Kent look on the right wing late on rather than the left 🤷♂️

Aribo was my man of match, put in a shift and tried his heart out

Aribo is the only one out of any of our midfield three who looks positive wit the ball, always has his head up looking to go forward shame no one else has the same urgency atm🙂

The only Rangers player brave enough to get on the ball and try and beat a Ross County player is Joe Aribo.
