Rangers: Fans shower Alfredo Morelos with love after club post

Loads of Rangers fans have been showering Alfredo Morelos with love after the club’s official Twitter account shared a picture of the 23-year-old back in Colombia as his foundation hosted a charity match.

This comes after another disappointing Old Firm derby for the Colombian centre-forward.

Although Rangers were able to defeat their fierce rivals 2-1 on the day, it was yet another encounter where Morelos was unable to find the back of the net against his side’s great enemy before being sent off.

Since then, Rangers have alleged that Morelos was racially abused by opposition fans at the game (via BBC Sport).

Away from that match, overall, it has been a great season thus far for the Colombia international. In 18 SPFL appearances, he has managed to score 12 goals to help his side mount a real title challenge in Scottish football’s top flight.
