Rangers: Fans slam Andy Walker for coverage during Motherwell game

Rangers momentarily returned to the top of the Scottish Premiership with a 2-0 win over Motherwell, though some supporters were left seething from the coverage of Sky Sports’ Andy Walker during the game.

The former Motherwell forward was on co-commentary duties at Fir Park, with the pundit offering his views during a dramatic match which included a strong tackle on Alfredo Morelos that only saw Liam Donnelly receive a booking, while the visitors then had Morelos sent off moments after scoring – something a number of fans felt Walker had been calling out for before the Colombian received his second yellow.

It had become a bit too much for these fans, who took to Twitter to voice their anger over the perceived bias from Walker and displayed their own views on social media.

Supporters felt that Walker was especially harsh on the Colombian striker even before his red card, which dominated the reactions during the game – some of which you can see below:
