Despite only playing just over 20 minutes on Sunday afternoon against Hamilton Academical, Rangers fans still managed to find time to slam Sheyi Ojo’s performance on Twitter.
68' SUB: Sheyi Ojo comes on to replace Scott Arfield | 1-2
— Rangers Football Club (@RangersFC) November 24, 2019
The Liverpool loanee was brought on to replace Scott Arfield (who subsequently appeared to bare some negative reactions as well going based on the thread), however it does not appear as though he impressed many of those that had been watching proceedings closely.
Indeed, the 22-year-old has found life a little hard going as of late with the Ibrox giants, with his contributions appearing to notably drop off.
According to data collected by TransferMarkt, Ojo has managed to provide the Gers with five goals and five assists in his 24 appearances across all competitions (including the Hamilton clash), although it has been a while since he has had a say in the final third barring the assist in the game against Ross County.
Fans appear to be fed up with the young winger, with many of them believing he is not good enough to be playing for Rangers and have called for Steven Gerrard not to keep him around Ibrox for longer than he has to. One even went on to suggest he was Dalcio in disguise – an attacking midfielder who really failed to make an impression whilst at the Gers as he made just three appearances (TransferMarkt).
Here are just some of their reactions…
Sooner we send Ojo back the better total mince!

Ojo again has all the attributes to be a footballer. Unfortunately his decision making and execution is absolutely dire.

Kent & Jack ran the show today & could be absolute Rangers legends in the years to come & our squad is the best since 2012 but Arfield & Ojo have been disappointing IMO! A signing or 2 in January could just be the key to major success this season…… I’m buzzing here

Arfield & Ojo are certainly not the answer, and Kent & Jones both prefer the left. Its the one position I’d be looking to strengthen in January.

Said it before and I’ll say it again. Sheyi Ojo is absolutely awful.
