After witnessing their side crash out of the Scottish Cup to Heart of Midlothian, some Rangers fans took to Twitter to vent their fury at Sheyi Ojo for his part in their defeat.
The Liverpool loanee may have only come on as a substitute in the first half for Scott Arfield, however it appears the hour or so he had on the pitch at Tynecastle did little to earn him any excuse from being handed a number of negative remarks on social media.
Indeed, the Light Blues struggled to get anything going in the game against the Jam Tarts and perhaps the 22-year-old’s ineffective showing played a role in that as Rangers managed just five total attempts at goal, with only one being registered on target (as per SofaScore).
Fans tore into Ojo as they believe he is far from good enough to feature for them moving forward, with one even suggesting that they would bring Jamie Murphy back from his loan spell at Burton Albion and replace the youngster with him.
One even appeared to suggest that the Liverpool loanee was not capable of putting in a performance above the Sunday league player, whilst others are sharing the opinion that he is one of the worst players to have played for Rangers.
Here are just some of their reactions…
Honestly don’t care how much hate I get but first thing Monday morning I’d be calling Liverpool to send Ojo back and recalling Jamie Murphy
There’s no way on earth anyone is as bad as Ojo at football. I would happily give Murphy a start ahead of most of those players after that

Tough reality. Davis looking like age finally caught. McGregor too old. Tav to surely go. A lot of holes to fill. Aribo and Kent good in Europe, poor otherwise. Jones done. Barker and Ojo not good enough. Think backline otherwise safe. Morelos to go. A lot happening.
