Rangers: Fans were not happy with Connor Goldson’s inclusion in Ross County win

Loads of Rangers fans were not happy to see Connor Goldson included in Steven Gerrard’s starting XI for the 1-0 win over Ross County.

Clearly disgruntled with some of the 27-year-old’s recent performances, supporters took to Twitter to question the decision to start him in the SPFL encounter at the Global Energy Stadium. In the end, though, there was not too much to complain about as Rangers managed to grab all three points.

It was a much-needed win following the recent defeats to Hamilton and Hearts, though it has not changed much in the grand scheme of things. Gerrard’s men are, of course, still some distance away from rivals Celtic in the table.

They do, however, have the chance to reduce that 13-point gap when they take on the Bhoys at Ibrox next Sunday. And going off Twitter, some supporters probably do not want to see Goldson play in such an important clash.
