Rangers kicked off their pre-season with a 5-0 win at Ibrox over Oxford yesterday, with a number of new faces making their debuts in front of over twenty-two thousand people.

The club’s new summer signing from Charlton (BBC) left the Championship club on a fairly positive note after helping Lee Bowyer’s side win promotion via the play-offs, and now he’s faced with an entirely different challenge at Ibrox.
It will be up to Aribo and company at Rangers to try and end Celtic’s current streak of Scottish Premiership titles, a streak currently at eight in a row. Indeed, the young midfield man was one of six players to make his debut for the Scottish giants yesterday, and he fared well.
The Evening Times ran a report, documenting how well each of Rangers’ debutants got on, and when it came to Aribo the article claimed that ‘he looks destined to become something of a cult hero’, so the early signs do indeed look promising.
You can see what these Bluenoses had to say about Aribo’s debut here:
You were class today Aribo keep it up. You and Kamara could be on to some partnership.
