A number of Rangers fans on Twitter have given their approval to transfer reports suggesting that the Ibrox club could make a deadline day move for Lyndon Dykes.
The Scottish Sun reported this morning that the ‘Gers could swoop for the Livingston striker if an attempted move for Hibernian forward Florian Kamberi doesn’t materialise – BBC claimed that the Light Blues are in talks with the Easter Road club about a possible move for the 24-year-old, but added that a deal remains “some way from being concluded”.
Steven Gerrard is keen to add to his attacking options today after Jermain Defoe was ruled out for four weeks with a calf injury, with the ‘Gers scouting Dykes during Livingston’s 4-2 win at Hamilton last weekend. [via The Scottish Sun]
The 24-year-old, who according to The Scottish Sun would be very keen on a move to Ibrox, has scored 11 goals in 25 games for the Lions this season, including one in a 2-0 defeat of Celtic in October, as well as supplying eight assists. [via TransferMarkt]
