Real Madrid cruised to another victory this weekend, beating Eibar 4-0 away from home.
Goals from Karim Benzema (2), Sergio Ramos and Federico Valverde clinched a valuable three points for Los Blancos in the Basque Country to ensure they retain pressure on league leaders Barcelona at the top of the summit.
The two Spanish titans are now separated by goal difference alone heading into the international break after Barca thrashed Celta Vigo 4-1 at the Nou Camp in their league outing on Saturday.
The performance of Valverde has been lauded by fans of the club on Twitter, with many supporters praising the young South American for his contribution during Saturday’s emphatic win.
The 21-year-old was handed his fifth league start of the campaign on Saturday in the heart of Real’s midfield, and did not disappoint with a mature performance topped off by his first goal of the season.
Here’s what some Los Blancos fans had to say about the Uruguayan star on Twitter:

The most beautiful journey of the season so far has been the one of Federico Valverde.
With each week, each game he is cementing his place on Zidane’s midfield 3.
