Rumours linking Real Madrid to the world’s biggest talent is always rife.

Such is the size and financial power Los Blancos have at their disposal, any potential transfer mentioned does have a sense of credibility to it, which makes it extremely believable. After all, this is a club who have broken the world transfer record for Premier League talents twice since the turn of the millennium in Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
The latest to be linked is Manchester City superstar Raheem Sterling, who is now being talked about as a target for Real Madrid. The Spanish super-club are reportedly set to test City’s resolve with an offer of £70m PLUS Gareth Bale for the winger’s signature next year, according to Sky Sports.
Bale’s relationship with the club and manager Zinedine Zidane, in particular, does suggest that the Wales international will be moving away from the club in 2020, with China being talked as a potential destination for the former Tottenham man.
Madrid are allegedly desperate to add Sterling – one of the world’s best (as noted by Rio Ferdinand) footballers – to their ranks.
Here’s how some Real fans reacted to the rumours on Twitter…
