Tottenham took most of the night to do it, but they have booked themselves  a a trip to Wembley for an FA Cup semi final after beating Bolton Wanderers 3-1 at White Hart Lane last night.

Spurs fans were given plenty of thrills and spills on their way to victory as Tottenham made a hash of finishing of a Bolton side that tried hard, but always looked second best.

“It was a good performance, I thought we played ever so well again tonight,”

“We played with three in midfield and three forward and I thought it suited us again tonight. We dominated the game, we just couldn’t get the goal.

“It took a long while for it to come, but the keeper was amazing for them tonight. I have never seen a keeper make so many saves.

“He made save after save, we hit the woodwork. It was an incredible amount of chances that we had, we just couldn’t get a break in front of goal and he was in great form the goalkeeper.

“We weren’t playing on the break, we were pummelling them and keeping them in their half. I said at half-time that the goals have got to come if we keep playing the way we did.

“The second half started and he continued to make save after save, but eventually the goals came and it was good to see Louis come on and score as well…”

Harry Redknapp was talking to ESPN.

Well now, when it comes to football, one man has for many years been the most noticeable, the most controversial, and occasionally the most successful blogger this country has ever produced. His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
