Harry Redknapp held a press conference earlier today ahead of Tottenham’s weekend Premiership tie away at Goodison Park.
Journalist Ben Pearce was in attendance and Tweeted the following.
- Harry Redknapp has confirmed that Dawson is out for the season, and that Lennon has a hamstring injury – but shouldn’t be out for long.
- On Lennon: ‘He’s not available but he shouldn’t be long. He’s got a scan today but he doesn’t feel too bad’.
- Louis Saha is available to face his former club Everton after having fluid drained from his knee earlier in the week.
- On Saha: ‘I spoke to him the other day and he’s looking forward to going back up there, so he’s certainly hoping to play’.
- On David Moyes: ‘You like to see people staying at their clubs long-term like that, it’s great for the game’.
- On Everton: ‘Everton is a big club. David could manage at any level, but Everton is certainly not a small club’.
- On talk of a new contract and a big summer budget with THFC: ‘No-one’s told me about it. No, it’s not the case. I speak to Daniel every day and he wants me to stay at the club..”…But at the moment he hasn’t made me an offer of a contract and I haven’t pushed him too either’.
‘We’ve never discussed spending money in the summer, or amounts of money. It’s never come up in conversation at all’.
