Tottenham are apparently in hot pursuit of a new winger according to those ever busy boys and girls at TuttoMercatoWeb and right now the main objective is Valencia’s 25 year old star Pablo Hernandez Dominguez.
Thought to have been settled at Valencia interest beyond Tottenham has come from Athletico Madrid.
So what profile does he currently have? Internationally the player might feel that he’s living in the shadow of players such as Iniesta and Villa who were substituted for him to make two of his three appearances for Spain. Perhaps a move to the Premiership might be seen as good move PR wise, after all 25 is pretty much his peak.
As for Aaaron Lennon this would be a serious addition as was of course David Bentley based upon the fees involved. Bentley didn’t work at Spurs but he was successful in ‘inspiring’ Azza to raise his game.
If Harry were to land a winger at this class of money and he were to be an asset unlike Bentley then this would put the cat amongst the pigeons as they say.
