According to TransferMarketWeb, Liverpool are dreaming of signing AS Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo.
The report says that it is actually the Reds’ dream to sign the Italy international, and they mention the arrivals of Alisson and Mohamed Salah, who also joined from Roma, which could play a role in them attracting him to Anfield.

They are not the only side with him on their radar, though, with Internazionale also interested, as well as Serie A champions Juventus.
Zaniolo is one of the most exciting talents in Italian football at the moment. He has already made 60 appearances for the Giallorossi, scoring 12 goals and providing five assists, whilst he has also netted twice in five caps on the international stage for Italy. A Golden Boy nominee, he may have progressed even further had he not suffered a serious injury halfway through this campaign.

Currently valued at £40.5m by Transfermarkt, he is certainly not one of the most expensive players on the planet, and at 21 he is one for the future. Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum are already both 29 years of age, meaning that the midfield could be in need of rejuvenating in the coming years. Zaniolo could be the first step in Jurgen Klopp and Michael Edwards doing just that.
