According to a report from Sport, Barcelona are interested in signing the Dane this summer and they are prepared to offer Rafinha as a makeweight during negotiations. The same report also claims that Spurs are interested in signing Rafinha, so Daniel Levy’s pragmatic negotiating skills could entice him to entertain Barcelona’s proposal in the coming weeks.
Although it’s a deal which the Tottenham supporters would be seething with, the natural lure of Barcelona will undoubtedly appeal to Eriksen, so the club could face an uphill battle in their attempt to convince him to sign a new long-term contract this summer.
