Rodgers should unleash these 2 Celtic hidden gems in pre-season

After a sensational season, the Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern cannot wait for next season to get started.

The Bhoys completed the domestic treble which saw them go unbeaten in the league in what was a sublime first year for Brendan Rodgers, and our landlord believes the Bhoys could dominate Scottish football in years to come given the standard of competition in Scotland.

With that said, the Bhoys are looking to go up a notch for next season and the off season is a great time for Rodgers to assess his squad in time for the start of the new season.

To say the fans clad in green and white within the Tavern are excited about the future would be an understatement and the talk currently is about the young players who Rodgers should give a chance to in pre-season.

Whilst it is simple to say that Rodgers needs to dip into the transfer market – there are a few players that have caught the eye of our resident Bhoys in the Transfer Tavern and the talk is that they would like to see some of these players star for the Hoops in the pre-season.

Whilst a lot of names have been thrown around, our landlord has done his research and he has highlighted two hidden gems who could have a major impact for the Hoops in pre-season.

Let’s take a look at them here…

Jack Aitchison

The young striker is highly rated by the Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern and they feel that pre-season is the perfect time for Aitchison to really stake a claim for more first team football for the Bhoys this season.

If Moussa Dembele doesn’t move this summer, there is no doubt the interest for Dembele will intensify and if he leaves Parkhead, game time for Aitchison this pre-season may well be vital for Celtic’s rise in Scottish football.

Eboue Kouassi

The Ivorian was signed by Brendan Rodgers in January however he was very much kept back by Brendan Rodgers as Celtic pushed in the League and Cup at the end of the season.

Our landlord know feels that pre-season is the right time for Rodgers to unleash the midfielder and if Kouassi produces the goods, it can be expected he will play a major part in the Bhoys’ 2017/18 season.
