What is going on at Liverpool? With the club seemingly in their biggest crisis in years, they appear to have no idea which way to turn to solve their problems.
It looks as if Roy Hodsgon’s days are definitely numbered. That’s fair enough given their recent results, performances and the pressure from the fans on the board to sack the current manager and replace him with club legend Kenny Dalglish.
So why instead, have they first been linked with a return for Rafael Benitez, and now with Jurgen Klopp of Borussia Dortmund and Ralf Rangnick, formerly of Hoffenheim? Is this the done thing to employ German coaches? Are they specifically after newly-unemployed managers? Are they each masterstrokes that will eventually come off? Or are they just desperate?
The Benitez rumour was probably nothing ever more than that, but it appears there is more substance to the recent reports emerging out of the German press that Roy Hodgson’s successor will come from the Bundesliga.
Klopp, who has taken Dortmund to the top of the German domestic league by a whopping ten points is the man of the moment, but is he enough to satisfy the Kop?
And then, it has been suggested in some quarters that NESV are considering Ralf Rangnick, recently resigned as of Saturday from German minnows Hoffenheim. Surely the job Rangnick did there doesn’t in any way resemble the rebuilding job he would have to do at Anfield?
And why don’t the new owners want Dalglish back as manager? Are they scared of King Kenny in the hotseat?

you **** ***** you, there arenot even on the list, i know because i have seen the list of candidates,,,, you mugs you
Care to divulge?
I assume that the Rangnick thing is just a total fabrication based on the fact that he resigned at the weekend and Liverpool are known to be looking for a manager. But his profile doesn’t look any more impressive than Hodgson’s. So I really can’t see us going for him- he looks like a mid-table mediocrity of similar standing to Hodgson. At least Klopp and the Portuguese guy are leading their respective divisions.
We have no idea of who is on that list, but I sincerely hope that Kenny is not on it. We can forget about Klopp, why would he leave Dortmund now? But I surely would give either Ragnick or Villas Boas a chance over an old legend who hasn’t coached in 10+ years.

Roy will be here till the end of the season when he will be replaced by Coyle. Your mum sucks John Henry’s dick and she told me!
WHAT IS GOING ON!!
FRANK RIJKAARD NAME IS NOT EVEN MENTIONED!!!?
Ragnick !!!! Have any one seen his methods and tactics ?? He spent 5 years just to level up his team, as a plus comoli mentioned he has good communication skills !! How is that related to any football managing skills or becoming a wining team? He finished 11th or 7th latest season managed.
Questions to be asked:
– Are the fans willing to wait for five years to win the champions league?
– He hasn’t win the champion league before.
– Many coaches available have better career why ain’t they listed?
– I believe only in one of the following choices:
– Frank Rijkaard. Or – Rafa benitz
You idiot this is hardly who their actually looking at , he’s just going by internet and tabloid tripe. And there is no list.
Frank Rijkaard ONLY plssssssssssss
