Many Wolves fans were in awe of Ruben Neves after he offered his congratulations to Conor Coady for scoring for England.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s captain found the net for the Three Lions in only his second outing for Gareth Southgate’s men after their 3-0 victory against Wales on Thursday.

Coady ghosted in at the far post to head in Kieran Trippier’s cross and double England’s lead on the night. This led to Neves posting a video (via the club’s official Twitter account) stating his delight at Coady’s goal and jokingly questioning what he was doing in the opponent’s box.
The 23-year-old Portuguese midfielder, who has scored 15 goals in 141 appearances for Wolves, added that the captain should “keep on going” and said it was a pleasure to play alongside him.

To no-one’s surprise, a lot of the Molineux faithful were delighted to hear Neves’ words and applauded the tremendous spirit that has been generated among the team, with one fan admitting that he was a tad “emotional” over it all:
