Scott Arfield is delighting Rangers fans all over the world

Rangers’ strong start to life under Steven Gerrard continued yesterday after his side thumped St Johnstone 5-1 at Ibrox to move up to second in the table. Indeed, after such a promising result in Europe, the excitement amongst the Gers faithful is palpable right now.

While there are many heroes to celebrate amid Gerrard’s Ibrox revival, one man certainly took many plaudits indeed yesterday. Summer signing Scott Arfield – Gerrard’s first signing in charge – thrilled supporters at Ibrox yesterday and sent fans into a dreamland on social media after scoring.

The midfielder, who was playing for Premier League side Burnley only last year, looks a real coup for the Light Blues and is certainly making a name for himself as an Ibrox stalwart as the club begin their most exciting project in years.
