Celtic have already had a concerning start to the season and it appears that the pressure is starting to get to Brendan Rodgers.
The Bhoys have managed to breeze the last couple of years with the Northern Irishman in charge, however, things have certainly changed for him and his side during the current campaign.
The Hoops were beaten by a last-minute goal at the weekend against Kilmarnock, whilst having been held to a goalless draw by St. Mirren in their previous league game.
“Yes I think they should be,” he told the newspaper.
“It’s a challenge. We have to accept that. There’s no doubt we need to be better. When you’re at the biggest clubs and you don’t win the heat comes onto you.”
Rodgers has not felt any pressure of the kind during his time at Celtic after having been largely unchallenged and it will be interesting to see how he copes with it.
However, things appear to be coming off the rails for the former Liverpool and Swansea City boss at Celtic Park and there have been growing concerns about his ability to sort the mess out.
The club will be looking for the performances to improve quickly as they will not want to fall behind the likes of their Old Firm rivals Rangers, who have leapfrogged them in the Scottish Premiership table.
