Brendan Rodgers could look to raid Celtic for one of their key players in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by The Sun, the new Leicester City manager is believed to want to offer Dedryck Boyata the chance to follow him to the King Power Stadium.
The Belgium international defender is out of contract in the summer and looks destined to depart the Scottish Premiership champions.
Leicester are thought to be in the market for new defenders, with the likes of Wes Morgan reaching the final stages of his career, whilst Harry Maguire is expected to attract interest from some of the Premier League’s biggest sides.
A number of people connected to Celtic are already upset and disappointed that Rodgers decided to leave the club halfway through the season and the idea that he could be about to raid them for one of their key players will not have been welcomed news.
Although Boyata departure from the Scottish outfit appears to be guaranteed, many will not be happy to see the 28-year-old reunite with his former manager in the Premier League.
However, there is not too much they can do about it and will have to think about who they can bring to Celtic Park to replace him and ensure their defence is as strong as possible next season.
