Celtic fans are enraged after Rodgers comments
It’s been a tough week or so for Celtic. They lost their manager, brought in a new one, left the dust to settle and still had to compete in a football game, too. Even that wasn’t without its problems, with a last minute goal required for the club to get a win.
Despite the passage of time, though, it doesn’t appear as though Celtic fans are even close to forgiving Brendan Rodgers. In fact, they seem to be angrier than ever.

Within the clip, he discusses the response that Celtic fans have had to his appointment, including a mention of the banner produced by fans. You can see that above around the 19.10 mark.
His comments haven’t gone down well with Celtic fans, and in truth, many are using this as an opportunity to showcase their anger towards Rodgers. See what they’ve had to say below:
The work he done was certainly appreciated! The walking out the way he did..was not.

“The work we did there will be appreciated”
He didn’t even appreciate it. Didn’t even bother to thank the players who helped him gain that success.

I think the man in incapable of learning a degree of self awareness… with time.. he himself should learn he done the wrong thing.. not in leaving.. but in the timing of it and how he done it.

Fans will be eternally grateful for the success he brought. However, the way in which he left will mean he may never be welcomed back at Celtic Park again. In years to come he may regret that
