Celtic: Fans demand club sign Mohamed Elyounoussi permanently after impressive goalscoring run

Mohamed Elyounoussi has looked like a great loan deal for Celtic this season, and the attacking midfielder added to his goalscoring tally on Wednesday night in the Hoops’ 2-0 win over St Mirren. He broke the deadlock with a goal on 49 minutes, taking advantage of an Odsonne Edouard shot which hit the bar and landed nicely for the Norwegian to tap in.

He has now scored four goals in the last three league games, as well as one in the Europa League, so he looks to be settling in well at Celtic Park. The 25-year-old decided to join the Hoops on loan from Southampton in the summer and has featured on both sides of the midfield for the Scottish champions.

Celtic’s official Twitter account posted the news that Elyounoussi had netted once again and fans were quick to show how impressed they’ve been with the loan star. Many even called for Neil Lennon to sign him on a permanent contract.

You can see some of their reactions to the tweet below:

Celtic fans, who do think you should sign in January?
