Celtic head into their final Europa League group stage game against Red Bull Salzburg on Thursday with the chance to secure qualification into the knockout round of the competition.
Brendan Rodgers’ men, however, will be well aware of the difficult task the lies ahead with Salzburg having taken maximum points from all of their games so far.
Goalkeeper Craig Gordon, though, has told Celtic’s official club website that confidence in the dressing room is high ahead of the club’s gigantic clash.
“The atmosphere in the dressing room is really good and we’re going into games confident,” Gordon said. “We have a lot of goals within the team, and we’re scoring from different areas.”
The 35-year-old’s words come after former Rangers striker Kris Boyd suggested that there was a divide in the Celtic Park dressing room (BBC Sport).
However, looking at the times where Celtic have struggled this season, it has mainly been down to defensive errors rather than a breakdown in relationship between players.
Have a look at what Celtic supporters are saying about Gordon’s comments and Boyd below…
Sounds like the split in the dressing room was someone’s troosers. Can you confirm?

That canae be right Kris Boyd said there’s a split in the dressing room. When questioned how he knows he said I just know I’m naw daft. I will take Boyd-i-chenkos (who is a better striker than Larsson) word over Gordans everyday
