Celtic fans are still nursing a hangover after getting beaten by Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Sunday and will be desperate to bounce back as soon as possible. However, with a trip to McDiarmid Park to face St Johnstone, the Hoops are far from confident.

St Johnstone will be desperate to get a win over Celtic after being humiliated against Rangers on Sunday. Tommy Wright’s side were battered 5-1 at Ibrox and will be keen to make a return to winning ways with a victory over Brendan Rodgers’ side on their way to the Scottish League Cup semi-finals. The Bhoys will be desperate for a win but the fans simply don’t back the side with the way they’re playing.
In the last four matches they’ve played, The Hoops have been unable to muster more than just one goal. They beat Rangers and Rosenborg 1-0, drew 0-0 at St Mirren and lost 2-1 to Kilmarnock in those games and St Johnstone will be confident of bagging more than one against a Celtic side that has looked devoid of confidence over the last few weeks. If they do lose tomorrow it will be the first piece of domestic silverware they won’t win since the Scottish Cup in 2016 that Hibs historically won.

No excuses this time, time the players started earning their wages this season.

Given our new playing tactics…the team bus will be travelling down the A74 , along the M8 , across the M73 , back down the M80 , along the M8 again , across the M9 and down the A9 into Perth.

Canny wait to watch Ryan Christie play whatever position he’s meant to be playing and see Jack Hendry running the show as he does so gracefully at CB!

"we expect the travel times and local IQ to be as slow and backwards as our build-up play"

The fans are far from confident ahead of this one and will be hoping they can battle their win to a win one way or another.
