Yesterday witnessed a bad day for those associated with Celtic Football Club. The Hoops lost away at Rugby Park to a stern Kilmarnock side whilst Steven Gerrard’s Rangers smashed St Johnstone 5-1 at Ibrox. The result leaves Celtic 6th in the table with ten points, one point behind 2nd place Rangers and six points off of table-topping Hearts, and the fans are starting to lose faith in Brendan Rodgers.

Whatever happens with Brendan Rodgers from here he will have to go down as one of the greatest men to every manage Celtic. He successfully guided them to Scottish football’s first ever double-treble and has made his side a force that no one in Scotland could get near. However, the fans are now starting to question his side as the club’s continued failure in Europe and a poor start to the season has ramped the pressure up on the Northern Irishman.
Losing at Kilmarnock yesterday was a real blow. The fans would have been expecting to make a strong start in their Scottish Premier League campaign as they continue to look for 10 in a row. However, with seven titles in seven years this year could be the hardest as a resurgent Rangers are looking good and the competition from Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs is stronger than ever. It could be a long season for Rodgers and he will need to win the fans back onside as quickly as possible.

i’m not an expert in body language… but just looking at that says to me ‘i can’t be bothered anymore’

So boring to watch and when we win it’s by the skin of our teeth, better get the act together or they’ll be no 10 in a row

He's out of here…. Just looks as if he couldn't care less any more. With Greatest respect if he wants away let him go now, season is early, we need to get a team playing for a committed manager. Shame really.

The fans aren’t sure whether Rodgers has it in him to pull them out of the mess they’re in and will be hoping that one way or another they come good in time to win the Scottish Premier League.
