Celtic fans on Twitter were beside themselves as Scott Brown bagged a belter

Celtic fans were given a real treat yesterday. Not only did they come away from their cup tie against St Johnstone with the security of a place in the next round and a Scott Sinclair hat-trick, but they also got to witness and an absolute banger from their favourite Bhoy, Scott Brown.
OH. MY. GOD.

The Hoops started early against St Johnstone yesterday, scoring inside just three minutes through Sinclair before adding to it with Brown’s thunderbolt just six minutes later. That strike was Brown’s first in a very long time, with his last goal coming almost two wholes years ago back in February 2017, and it was most definitely worth the wait.
Brown found himself loitering in midfield around 30-yards out from goal as the play carried on ahead of him, yet when the ball fell to him it seemed clear that he only had one motive. The Scottish midfielder took a touch out of his feet and unleashed a wicked effort that sailed into the top right-hand corner, giving Zander Clark no chance as he wheeled away to celebrate.

Only thing better than the goal was the swagger that followed it #broony #captainleaderlegend

The Bhoys cannot get enough of Brown’s strike and will hope he can repeat the feat again this season at some point.
