Celtic fans on Twitter have poured in messages of support for Christopher Jullien after the Frenchman nodded home the winner against Lazio last night.
The Hoops faced Lazio at Celtic Park in their third fixture of the Europa League group stages and were able to pull off a hugely impressive 2-1 win.
Lazio took the lead at Celtic Park thanks to a goal from Manuel Lazzari, however, the Bhoys didn’t drop their heads despite going into the half-time break 1-0 down.
Ryan Christie managed to level the scores in the 67th minute after he swept home after a pass from Odsonne Edouard. Christie then went from scorer to creator, as his corner was put on a plate for defender Jullien to nod home from in the 89th.
That wasn’t the last of the drama, though, as Fraser Forster had to pull off a wonder-save to deny Danilo Cataldi from levelling the scores.
The win was enormous for Celtic and puts them in charge of their own fate. They have now amassed seven points from the first half of the group stages in a tough group with Lazio, Rennes and Cluj.
Here are some of the tweets from Celtic fans from the moment Jullien’s winner hit the back of the net…
