Celtic: Fans react as Jeremie Frimpong notches first Bhoys goal

Jeremie Frimpong has enjoyed a blistering start to his Celtic career, and it continued on Sunday with another standout performance as he scored his first goal in the famous green and white hoops during the 4-0 dismantling of Aberdeen.
The youngster, signed from Manchester City on deadline day, has made three appearances for the Bhoys, and to say he’s found things easy so far is something of an understatement. The aggregate result of the three games is 15-0 and he has 1 goal and 1 assist to his name.
Frimpong was seen as a long-term prospect when he signed but his performances in training and his recent displays have seen him push Hatem Abd Elhamed for the starting slot such is his popularity among some of the fans, as seen in the tweets below.
Celtic fans were delighted not only to see Frimpong in the starting line-up, but also to see him grab his first goal and took to Twitter to express their happiness for the effervescent right-back:
