Celtic winger Lewis Morgan celebrated his 23rd birthday on 30th September, and the club made sure that they wished him many happy returns.
On their official Twitter page, the Bhoys said happy birthday to their player despite him not being a regular in their squad this season.
Indeed, Morgan has made just a single start in the Scottish Premiership this term which came against St Mirren on matchday two. He hasn’t featured at all since then, and hasn’t even been part of the squad for their last three fixtures.
The winger joined Celtic in 2018 from St Mirren, but has so far failed to make an impact at Parkhead. He has managed to make just 10 league appearances in his time at the club, and had to re-join the Saints for a loan spell later in 2018 whilst also spending time at Sunderland on a temporary basis to get more first team minutes.
Whilst a few Celtic fans joined in and also sent their regards to Morgan, quite a few used the post to criticise the Scotland international.
Several fans seem to believe that he is not good enough for them, and have made those feelings known on social media. Here is what some of them have had to say about Morgan…
