Celtic fans take to Twitter to laud James Forrest after sublime strike

Celtic fans on Twitter have been loving life under Neil Lennon in the last few weeks. After beating Motherwell 2-1 in his first game the real test came yesterday when the Hoops took on Lennon’s former side Hibernian in the Scottish Cup, and James Forrest got the ball rolling with a wonderful goal as the Hoops booked their place in another semi-final.

The Bhoys cannot get enough of their sublime homegrown superstar, and this season has been an amazing one for the winger. The 27-year-old has had an incredible season so far and has recorded the best numbers in terms of goals and assists than he’s ever managed before in a single season. In 46 games this season the Scottish winger has scored 15 goals and assisted a further 18.

If Forrest can carry on adding goals and assists from out wide and in midfield then he’ll go a very long way to helping the Bhoys win success this season. They’ve already won the Scottish League Cup and now that the Hoops are just two wins away from winning the Scottish Cup whilst also being an impressive eight points clear of Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premier League, the fans will be desperate for Forrest to keep up his sublime form.

The Hoops loved seeing their star winger tuck home yesterday and will hope he can save a few more cracking goals for the semi-final and final of the Scottish Cup.
