Celtic have been extremely impressive in the Scottish Premiership as they continue assert their dominance, with Rangers’ slip-up yesterday helping them extend their lead at the top.
The Hoops desperately need to improve on their last performance in the Europa League as they were beaten 2-0 by Valencia at Celtic Park. So, Brendan Rodgers’ men have it all to do in the return leg in Spain.
However, it appears as if the Glasgow side have had their eyes on a possible summer swoop recently, as according to The Mirror, Celtic had representatives watching Birmingham City’s Che Adams on Tuesday night.
Indeed, the Englishman has established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in the Championship this season, with 19 goals and an impressive four assists to his name up until this point.
Interestingly, the Hoops reportedly had representatives at St Andrew’s on Thursday night to watch the forward in action, but he wasn’t able to find the back of the net as Birmingham lost 1-0 to Bolton Wanderers.
A number of other clubs are also taking an interest in the striker, including Man United, Arsenal and Watford.
Che Adams is arguably one of the hottest topics in English football at this moment in time as he’s been in fine form at St Andrew’s, so it comes as no surprise that Celtic had representatives watch him.
So, it looks as if the Hoops are eyeing the Birmingham City star having scouted him recently, with a summer swoop potentially on the cards.
