Celtic are thought to be in the market for a new right-back as they look to bolster their current options.
Brendan Rodgers currently has Mikael Lustig as his main choice, with both Anthony Ralston and Cristian Gamboa his other alternatives.
However, with the Sweden international’s future at the Hoops being questioned, the Bhoys are thought to be trying to bring a new right-back to Paradise this January.
And, according to a report in Scotland, it seems that an experienced man is on their radar as a possible long-term replacement for the 32-year-old.
Capped by his country 34 times, the 27-year-old has been playing for Greek outfit Olympiakos for the last five years.
Having already addressed their attacking concerns this January, Celtic appear to be stepping up their chase for a new right-back.
Elabdellaoui could be a great option to replace Lustig in the near future, as the Swede has struggled to remain the player he once was.
A move to Celtic may be helped with the fact that Kristoffer Ajer already at Parkhead, as he may be able to convince his compatriot to join up with the Scottish Premiership champions.
