Celtic have already added some attacking threat to their side this January as they look to fend off the challenge from Old Firm rivals Rangers.
The likes of Timothy Weah, Oliver Burke and Vakoun Issouf Bayo have all arrived at Celtic Park recently to bolster their ranks.
However, it appears The Bhoys have been handed the opportunity to bring another winger to Parkhead this January.
The Scottish Sun are claiming Brendan Rodgers’ side have been given the chance to sign Maryan Shved from Karpaty Lviv, whilst Dynamo Kiev are thought to hold an interest in him as well.
The 21-year-old, who has been capped once by the Ukraine national side, is thought to be valued at £2million.
However, Celtic are understood to be willing to pursue an interest if they are able to reduce squad numbers before the end of the transfer window.
Shved is an extremely exciting prospect and one that Celtic should look at considering as a potential player for the future.
The 21-year-old has starred for his current side and is impressive form, having hit eight goals in his 17 games so far this season.
However, if Celtic are unable to offload any of their current squad before now and the end of January, they could risk losing the player to someone else.
